Corby/Northants – National (Occasional travel required – Office Base Corby)

c£28,000 DOE + OTE £40,000 + Company vehicle + Career development

 

Company

Our client was founded in 1958 in Sweden to provide racking systems for service vehicles. Since then, the company has been at the cutting edge of product development, sales and service in the van storage sector and has an enviable 30-year track record in the UK. Their wholesale sector operates with Dealer Partners across the UK supplying them quality products and solutions for these partners to undertake fitting to their end customers.

Role

This is a new and exciting additional role within their Wholesale division, which has experienced rapid growth over the past 24 months. You will work within the Wholesale channel team to deliver growth and profitability by supporting our existing & expanding network of dealer partners. Reporting to the channel Manager, you will provide day-to-day support for our dealer partners by ensuring that all quotes and enquiries are dealt with in a timely and accurate manner.  Travelling to our dealer partners to undertake meetings and provide support is a necessity for the role, so the flexibility to travel frequently and spend nights away from home is a pre-requisite. In addition to the sales support activities, you will also work closely with other internal departments within System Edström.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting dealers with quotations, designs and providing essential training
  • Become a leader with our DnD design tool (full training given)
  • Provide sales support to our Dealer Partners
  • Work with Channel Manager to deliver channel growth, KPI’s with additional sales generation
  • Help develop new partners
  • Undertake customer visits at their business locations
  • Attend & help exhibit at trade shows when applicable
  • Ensure good order flow and service to our dealer network
  • Update systems and databases in a timely and accurate manner

Person

We are not necessarily looking for years of Technical Sales expertise, we are searching for up-and-coming individuals who have got aptitude in a relationship-led role.

  • The soft skills and ability to manage an account base and recognise new business opportunities.
  • A keen eye for detail and ensure the effective administration of Sales processes and procedures.
  • The desire to develop industry relationships and accumulate industry knowledge.
  • Good communicator at all levels through all mediums.
  • 1/2 years’ experience in related automotive sector/dealership B2B/B2C is desirable.
